Bramley trip to Dijon-Prenois
09/05/2011

Response from our recent mailing has prompted Bramley to form our own Driving Club for customers who would like to get out and meet other like-minded owners and perhaps visit a few circuits.

So, for our inaugural event Bramley have teamed up with premium track day provider RMA Ltd to offer you the chance to join them on a trip to the fabulous undulating Dijon-Prenois Circuit in France on the 23rd and 24th August 2011. Bramley have secured a beautiful 11th century Abbey which is part of the Relais & Chateaux group of hotels, to ensure you enjoy the best dining and relaxation experience during your stay. The Abbey is set in 15 acres of beautiful parkland and the buildings have been transformed into a luxurious country house hotel, with an air of peace and tranquility.

Bramley customers will benefit from an event host, special members rate for the circuit activity plus circuit instruction for those that require it. Prices for one day’s circuit activity with two nights stay at the Abbey, evening meals and a fully flexible Channel Tunnel crossing start from £2,000.00.

Places on this trip are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. As a customer who has registered interest in receiving information on offers you have received this invitation as a priority before we release the details to the rest of the customer database. So, if you would like to book or receive more information please call the showroom on 0844 8227917 without delay.

In the meantime we look at our Top 3 track car potentials from the stock list:

1. Ferrari 458
Launched at the Frankfurt Show in 2009, the 458 espouses traditional Ferrari Berlinetta lines, a beautiful synthesis of sleek curves, purposeful aerodynamics and air ducts, presenting the most full-on on-road presence this side of a Le Mans prototype. Money where its mouth is, the 458 is powered by a 560bhp 4.5-litre V8 and it’s the first mid-engined Ferrari to use direct fuel injection. There’s no manual shift; transmission is the dual-clutch Getrag 7-speed, backed up by F1-Trac traction control. This is one mean, mouth-watering monster machine.

2. Nissan GT-R Black Edition

A track day favourite for the younger generation, this Nissan GT-R is liveried Gun Metallic Grey with Black and Red Interior. The natty Nissan features just about every driving aid known to man; ESP (Electronic Stability Programme); ABS (Anti-lock Braking System); ETC (Electronic Traction Control); EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution & 4-Wheel drive). If you can’t keep those 473 brake horses under control with all those gadgets, then… well, we suggest you stick to golf! It’s a fast, fun and reliable race car for the road, reasonably priced considering all the gizmos, at £45,995.

3. Aston Martin 4.7 V8 Vantage

Small is beautiful: don’t under estimate Aston Martin’s baby V8 Vantage: petite-bodied, but harbouring a large 4.7 V8 engine. It’s a sensational Grand Tourer on the open road and pretty nifty round the track too - this is the same body and engine type as the GT4 race models which also use the same Sportshift transmission. This version is ’09 registered with just 7,500 miles on the clock, a beauty in stunning Meteorite Silver with Black leather interior, and it will cost you £65,996. It’s comfy, sporty, nimble and sounds awesome!
