Limited to just 500 examples worldwide, it combined a 3.6-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six engine producing 611 BHP with a 6-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, resulting in an exhilarating and uncompromising driving experience. Lightweight construction, extensive use of carbon fibre and motorsport-derived engineering helped create what was, at the time, the fastest and most powerful road-going Porsche ever built.
